SELF-INITIATEDCRAFT STUDY

Typography in Motion — Type Study

A self-initiated study in fluid match cuts and typographic rhythm. One idea, escalating commitment: scale, weight, and silence doing the work instead of scene changes. Built as a portfolio flex and a discipline check on type habits.

We cut on motion and negative space as much as on the beat. Contrast is the drama: a minimal field so type reads graphic at thumbnail scale, then large moments where the form carries the whole frame.

Contrast pulse across the sequence
Weight shift as the idea escalates
Scale swell carrying the frame
Negative space as rhythm, not filler
Cut on motion rather than scene change
Silence hold before the next commitment
Form-dominant moment at full scale
